Timber Frame Extension in Lubenham

The Lubenham project involved transforming an old garage and garden area while maintaining its original appearance to comply with planning regulations. This endeavor required the careful demolition and reconstruction of the structure, seamlessly integrating it with the existing architecture. Our team meticulously crafted a timber frame extension linking the original house to the new addition, which now features a spacious lounge and dining area, a bedroom with an ensuite bathroom, and a charming courtyard patio area tucked behind a green gate. The thoughtful design ensures that the new spaces blend harmoniously with the original home, preserving the aesthetic continuity of the property.

To further enhance the cohesive look, we designed the end of the bedroom to mimic the appearance of a garage door, ensuring it complements the existing structure. This subtle yet effective design choice allows the new timber frame extension to maintain the character of the original building while providing modern amenities and additional living space.
